FAMILY IS HIS IDEA...
God has been putting on my heart his love of family, after all he is himself in a triune relationship, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We were never meant to walk alone and in isolation to one another. The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy and his sole purpose is to cause us to stop, deviate, pull back from the Love of God. We are made to be in family, we are made to receive his love. The strong covering love of a father that calls you out into the waves whilst he stands in the deep waiting with his arms wide open to hold you as you shake and shiver with your own self doubts. Safety in his arms, safe when the storms blow. The love of a mother, that wipes the tears away as you pour out your heart letting all the pain out as you’re held, wrapped in a tender hearted embrace so sweet that even in the midst of the pain you know you’re loved and that it will be ok. You’re safe, home and you’re loved, beyond measure. That was, and is still his heart for his children. “That ALL shall know him and none shall perish.” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV
Learning how to walk as confident sons and daughters requires investment, time to build trust to develop your own personal library of all the times God stepped into your life and changed things, blessed you, showed up.
Developing a relationship with the one perfect father, mother of all times WILL change you. Of that there is NO doubt.
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us…So God created Human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; Male and female he created them…”

...LEGACY IS WHAT WE DO WITH IT
Walking free in the full love of God doesn’t end with our story. Once you know just how deep and wide and high God’s love is for you, that love fills us up and flows outwards like a river. Set free, unshakeable in who God says you are and unchangeable in how loved you are has momentum. Just as a river is moved by force and propulsion so our lives become rivers of force and power flowing where God wills, and where he goes there is freedom, joy and life in all its abundance. “He came to set us free, we are free indeed…”
One touch from God changes everything.
“We shall continue to tell our children and not hide from the rising generation the great marvels of our God…” - Psalm 78:4
“My desire is to give you everything in abundance, more than you expected, life in its fullness, until you overflow…” - John 10:10
When you know you are loved to the very core of your being something else rises up inside us and our deep cries out to God’s deep. Once we know we are safe and loved beyond measure then every part of our lives is changed and consequently everyone that we meet, touch, do life with gets to see, feel, taste the change. The overwhelming love that pours into you will pour out of you. And guess what God has a much larger bucket. As we get refreshed, set free and filled up we get to breathe Jesus over everyone that encounters us. Bleeding Jesus isn’t hard when you know who you are and how much you’re loved. Bleeding Jesus is as easy as breathing. Don’t strive for it, just relax, hands wide open in a posture of surrender and let God in to do what only he can do. Then you won’t be able to do anything BUT bleed Jesus over everyone, all the time. People aren't changed by the bible, they are drawn in by the change they see in us. Encountering a life sold out for Jesus is mind blowing, it goes against the grain and smashes the holy trinity of Man; me myself and I, into pieces. It’s attractive and is guaranteed to make people ask, why? how?… that’s when we get to tell them exactly how and why…. Don’t strive for the mission field, don't strive for the change. Just rest, open handed and let the God who is and was and will be change you from the inside out so you can bleed Jesus to all you encounter.
Let me encourage you to jump with both feet into the river that God’s putting before you. Jump, with both feet and let the river take you where it will.
