We all know the Easter story right? Jesus betrayed. Jesus nailed to a cross. Jesus buried in a tomb. Jesus rising from the dead three days later. It’s easy to be nonchalant about the Easter story, even as a Christian. For the reason behind the story to become blurred into a well known and recounted sermon, followed by roast lamb and chocolate eggs. And yet, this morning, I was encouraged to look at the resurrection story with new eyes; with a fresh perspective.
