Jesus bids us: "come, follow me", but what does that really mean in our lives and how do we do that?

Jesus offers us an invitation to come to him. To gather all of ourself to him. To lay down striving, posturing, saving face, talking ourself up, and just come. Just as we are. It's interesting that He starts with come, the invitation is offered before the request to then follow Him.
