eyes on you
In Matthew 11 Jesus offers us an invitation; to come to him, tie ourselves to him, He even lets us know what we can expect when we do that, rest for our weary souls.
In the same passage Jesus offers a third invitation to us, to learn from Him. It’s not enough to just call yourself a follower of Jesus. You have to get close to him, stay close to him and learn from Him. So that His ways become your ways; then you will truly become a city on a hill that people will want to live in, a light on a lamp stand shining Jesus out to the world.
"Learn from me" Jesus said. Let's embrace that invitation today.
