God Cares
Do you believe that God cares about you?
Jesus asked the question in Matthew 6:26, "Consider the birds of the sky; they don't sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly father feeds them. Aren't you worth more than they?:"
Some of us go through life feeling that we aren't worth God caring about us, noticing us, listening to us or even bothering with us. I wonder if you've ever found yourself challenging God with a "Don't you even care about me" question?
The enemy loves to remind us of all the ways we aren't worth more; to point out all the scars we carry that prove we aren't. The problem with that is we're not defined by our scars. Thanks to Jesus, we are defined by His scars. We need to learn to focus on the right scars and wounds, so that we can know just how valuable we really are and what that means for our lives.
