jesus at the centre
We all know the story of creation in Genesis. The world created in 6 days, God resting on the 7th. Adam formed from dust, Eve from his rib. The beautiful garden of Eden, the trees, the snake, the apple. The fateful moment of the wrong choice, the wrong way. The way of self. Without God's great mercy and grace, his love that covers all, we would still be in that same story. But Jesus changed it all forever, in his perfect sinless moment of choice. To surrender and follow the way of his father even unto death, and in his choice we have a reminder of how we are to also walk our way of faith. More than just a spoken “I believe”, but an everyday choice of allowing Jesus to be at the centre of all we do. Each day we get to choose: more of you in my life and less of me. Not an easy walk but a necessary one if we are to be changed into the image of his son and by this all shall know Him, Jesus, the one who saves and redeems.
