wilderness, not wasteland
Learning to wait well will transform your walk with God. The process of preparation; seeing it as part of the necessary journey to be embraced, not pushed away, really will give you the grace to keep standing. To keep breathing and waiting, and not lose hope or faith.
The wilderness brings its own unique set of conditions and pressures. A diamond is formed under pressure. Pearls come out of grit. Plants grow deep roots when the soil is drier, because they send them down to find the moisture.
Character, that un-welcomed word when you’re in the wilderness, but character really is developed in the waiting. In the wilderness times; that’s when God is near and He will sustain you.
