“Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God” (Psalm 46:10 TPT).

“Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10 NLT).

Why are we being told to be still? And how, by being still, do we get to know that He is God?

In a world where doing is prized over being, where achievement is constantly strived for, or given up on, in order to feel worthy and enough, being still is possibly not something many of us do much of.
