exposure in the process
Do you consider it a great joy whenever you experience great trials? No, me neither usually; and yet in James 1:2-4, this is how we're encouraged to face them.
Today we're going to explore how the pressure we can feel during our waiting times, might be the very thing needed to expose where we aren't in agreement with who God says we are. Feeling unworthy, not good enough, a failure will cause you to behave in ways that demand control, striving, works or adulation from others. God wants us to seek him in all things, for his well done to be the only thing we seek. When we wait on Him we will renew our strength, as it says in Isaiah 40:31.
Let's learn to renew our strength through embracing the waiting seasons.
