immanuel - god is with us
A series of Advent talks that remind us Immanuel, Christ, is with us. As we get ready for the coming of Jesus we will explore four central themes of; Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. How do these promises from Jesus affect or steady our faith and how do we hold firm to them when tough seasons are upon us? Do you experience Immanuel, God, with you in your day to day life? Or do you mostly get through each day with gritted teeth, hoping not to receive yet another brown envelope with a bill inside or another round of arguments with those closest to you? Let he who was born to be the light of the world bring light to your hidden dark places and shed abroad his; peace, love, joy and hope this season.
