A Valentine’s Prayer and Benediction.
ABBA, hear the cries of the scared and the frightened trying to be ok enough for those who look to them for comfort. Father hear the cries of those wrestling with questions, too deep and dark they’re not sure any light could ever reach them. Father hear the cries of the single, the separated, the divorced, the single parent as they struggle to handover the burdens they firmly believe are theirs to carry. Jesus hear the cries of the young, struggling to see their own beauty against the sea of distorted, filter imported, social media noise. Lord hear the cries of ALL your children today whoever and wherever they are. Lord for those who have hidden themselves, removed themselves, self loathed and self harmed themselves, pour out a blessing of grace and love. For those who walk in bitterness, regret or anger, Lord release your oil of peace and mercy. Father for those who long for an arm, any arm, to lean on, release your holy strength and for ALL people, race and nations, Lord I pray that they:
“know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Eph 3:19 CSB
Maranatha, come Lord Jesus, to the lost, the down trodden, the overlooked, the forgotten. the hidden away, the shut down, the broken hearted, the weary beyond belief, the frightened and the lonely. Pour out your blessings on ALL today.
